That's why I teach the decisions behind the treatment as carefully as the application itself. You'll learn how to assess suitability, choose a solution with intention, control the amount you apply and understand what affects the developed result.

The beginner programme takes you from the knowledge behind a tan to working with real clients. Each stage builds on the last.

Work through the online education at your pace: skin, client care, colour and solution decisions, equipment, application principles and the full tan lifecycle.
Apply
Practise with me in a small group of max 4 students. You'll complete two full-body applications, talk through your decisions and receive direct correction on the details that matter.

INSIDE THE TRAINING
More than a practical day.
This course gives you the education, supervised practice and feedback to build a professional spray tan service. You’ll need to demonstrate what you can do before you’re signed off.
LEARN THE FOUNDATIONS
Online education
Work through client consultation and care, skin and DHA, Fitzpatrick, product and colour choices, equipment, preparation, application principles, the tan lifecycle and aftercare. Complete the required knowledge checks before your practical.
PUT IT INTO PRACTICE
Small-group practical with Sam
Practise a full appointment with live feedback. You’ll complete two full-body applications: one with another student and one with a model you arrange. I’ll look at your decisions, control, coverage and finishing.
BUILD EXPERIENCE
Ten assessed case studies
Spray independently, carry-out and record your client assessment and choices, and submit the results for feedback. This is where the learning becomes repeatable in real appointments, whilst still gaining support - so you're not left on your own!
START PROFESSIONALLY
Business foundations + support
Work through service pricing, policies, the client journey and getting your first paying clients. You’ll also have group support as you complete the programme for a total of 12 months.

I've done the work I'm teaching.
I'm Sam - a beauty business owner and spray tan educator with 15 years in the industry.
I've worked with clients, trained artists and seen where a memorised routine stops being useful. My teaching is direct and practical: I want you to know why you're making a choice, what to look for in the result and what to do differently next time.
The goal is good judgement and consistent work, with support appropriate to the route you choose, to ensure you feel confident in launching and growing your business.
