Good spray tanning starts before you pick up the gun.
A good result comes from more than following the same routine on every body. It comes from knowing how to assess the client in front of you, choose the right product, apply it with control and recognise what needs to change when something isn’t going to plan.
That’s the thinking behind The With Sam Method™: Consult. Customise. Apply. Perfect. Protect.
For new artists, the training follows Learn → Apply → Launch. You’ll learn the knowledge behind the treatment, apply it with me in person, then build your confidence through assessed case studies and the business foundations you need to start working with clients.
If you’re already qualified, you don’t need to start again. You can revisit the reasoning behind your work through Existing Artist Conversion, add a practical so I can watch you spray and give direct feedback, or book a focused refresher for a specific part of your technique.
What makes this training different is that I won’t teach you a fixed number of passes and send you away to repeat them. I want you to understand why you’re making each decision, how it affects the finished tan and when to adapt your approach. You will also have 12 months support throughout.

The full accredited training route for beginners and beauty professionals adding spray tanning to their services. You’ll work through the online education, train with me in person, complete assessed case studies and learn the business basics behind offering the service.
"I’m already qualified and want to learn your approach"
The With Sam Method™ - Existing Artist Conversion
An online route for qualified spray tan artists who want to revisit how they assess clients, choose products and make decisions throughout the appointment. You can work through the education and assessment without booking a practical day.
"I want the education and practical feedback"
The With Sam Method™ - Conversion + Practical Refresher
For qualified artists who want to work through the Method online, then have me watch them spray. We can look at what you’re already doing, make corrections where needed and give you clear feedback to take into your next appointments.
"I need help with a specific part of my technique"
Practical Refresher With Sam
Already qualified and know where you’re getting stuck? This is focused time together to look at your application, work through the issue and practise the changes. It’s a practical refresher, rather than the full Method conversion.

WHY TRAIN WITH ME?
I’ve spent over 15 years in beauty, working with clients, running a business and training artists. I know the difference between following a set of steps on a training day and feeling confident when a real client is standing in front of you.
My training is brand neutral because I want you to understand how to assess a client and make the right decisions with the products you choose to use. We’ll look at the why behind your technique, and I’ll give you honest, practical feedback you can take into your own appointments.
I want you to leave knowing what you’re doing, why you’re doing it and what to change when the result isn’t quite right.
